    Weaving time in a tapestry

Won’t you stop and remember me

    At any convenient time

Funny how my memory slips while looking over manuscripts

    Of unpublished rhyme

    Drinking my vodka and lime

I look around, leaves are brown now

And the sky is a hazy shade of winter

    Look around, leaves are brown

There’s a patch of snow on the ground…

  1.     In 1981 I worked in a small Record store. I often opened the store by myself before co-workers arrived. I remember playing this U2 album in the store before opening, just me an U2, a good way to start the work day
