V for Vendetta (No Women, No Kids)

A biography on Duke’s Facebook page reads: “My Testament: Some people (the government sponsored media) will say I was evil, a monster (V)… no… I was just born poor in a country where the Wealthy manipulate, use, abuse, and economically enslave 95% of the population. Rich Republicans, Rich Democrats… same-same… rich… they take turns fleecing us… our few dollars… pyramiding the wealth for themselves. The 95%… the us, in US of A, are the neo slaves of the Global South. Our Masters, the Wealthy, do, as they like to us…”

Dear Obama,

To prevent further craziness, maybe, i dunno, you might wanna help out some of the poor in your country to prevent desperate “end of my rope” outbursts like this from happening again.

Where there is no opportunity, no hope, there will be despair and acts that threaten us all when they are carried out.

Or should I talk to your Dad and our new substitute President, Bill Clinton, about this adult issue?

Sincerely,

Jack

From Here to Eternity: Socialism in America

According to some measures Socialist Germany is the most successful country on the planet right now.

According to some studies, the “happiest” countries in the world are the ones with the least income inequality.

The American Government and American Society are “not in the business” of being successful or making people happy, it is in the business of creating and preserving an Upper Class, a Ruling Class. Europe’s monarchies led to Socialism. America’s Capitalist Democracy is leading to Monarchism….and Aristocracy.

Perhaps we cannot reject Monarchism, as Europe has done, until we fully create it?

Let’s face it and admit it and make it an open goal. Instead of being defensive and trying to “counter the charges.”

Democratic Socialism is proving to be the best, and by best I mean fairest, form of government on the Planet.

We want America to be, lol, like Germany.

The Lol comes from the fact that America won the War….and Germany has won the Peace. And at least in part they won the Peace by having their former form of government destroyed in the war, then the Clod War, and then, after the destruction….starting somewhat, from scratch.

Now I am FAR from being an expert on German Socialism…and I am sure that Lefties in Germany are FAR from happy with their system. But…apparently you can still get rich in Germany. Which is one objection to Socialism, that it levels the playing field too much and doesn’t let “entrepreneurs” rise to the top. While not taking the deadly toll of what the President just referred to as collateral damage…on the citizens of our own country. There are starving people in America. Homeless, foodless, healthcareless people……their dignity as human beings robbed from them, to give to the rich.

The Goal is a system where you can get obscenely rich, but you can’t get obscenely poor.

This IS done “on the backs of” the Rich. The Rich pay higher taxes, and this is an abomination to those who have already got theirs.

But societies and economies have to be built on the backs of somebody.

And at the end of the day, at the end of politics, at the end of moral values and moral hazard…it is eminently better for everyone, including the Rich…if society is built on the backs of people who actually have something.

U. S. Air Force blocks access to media publishing Wikileaks

I need to do something about these late breaking bombshells.  they’re not good for my health.  I should be going to bed, but instead I’m here at my keyboard.  This was just too, too precious to resist:

In a brain-melting move, the cyber-guardians of the 24th Air Force have blocked user access to nytimes.com, the Wall Street Journal reports, to prevent airmen from reading the WikiLeaks cable descriptions that the Times is publishing. It’s not just the Times, either: other news organizations with early access to the purloined WikiLeaks diplomatic trove are banned. That’ll teach you to read the Guardian, Le Monde, El Pais or Der Spiegel at work.

It’s too late to say more, and all you really need is the original article, “Air Force Blocks WikiLeaks-Publishing Times Website”.  There’s a great photo of about 15 uniformed air force nerds sitting in their numbered computer cubicles working to protect the troops from the treasonous propaganda truth.  “ by Spencer Ackerman .

How dumb can they be?  Don’t they realize the kids can figure out how to get other access?

Obama Should Switch Parties

And make it official.

That’s my eight word essay.

Revisiting Reaganomics

Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. has raised the ghastly specter of Reaganomics.

“If we cut taxes for the wealthy, while maintaining massive military spending in support of two wars, then the new Republican Congress will be empowered to cut social programs in order to reduce the deficit,” Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., a longtime friend and sometimes critic of the president, said in a statement. “So it will be a choice between cutting programs for the poor, children, the unemployed, the uninsured and veterans or allowing deficits to pile up. That was President Reagan’s strategy: A ‘starve the beast’ plan of lowered taxes and increased military spending that would force Congress to make deep cuts in program for the most vulnerable.”

Is Obamanomics really Reaganomics? And is that a bad thing?

Many people think that Reagan was one of our greatest presidents, and Reaganomics was his defining legacy.

This is a good place to stop and examine exactly what Reaganomics was and what it means. Most importantly, let’s look at the raw numbers so no one can confuse us with spin.
