“It was like watching Colonel Sanders give a speech that never mentioned chicken.”

Who was that smiling congenial man who gave the opposition party rebuttal to the State of the Union address by the president?

He’s the ranking member, Committee on the Budget. He has published a plan that is his notion of what is best for America during this time of financial crisis. You can find it online at the following website.

As for his post-SOTU rebuttal speech, I also noted the following as written in the Washington Post Business section:

Ryan managed to get through the speech without mentioning, or even alluding to, his Roadmap. Nor did the words “Medicare” or “Social Security” pass his lips. It was like watching Colonel Sanders give a speech that never mentioned chicken.

PhotobucketTonight, I have the rare honor of speaking to one of the premier architects of Social Reform, a humanitarian who’s life work has been in helping the poor, Professor Frances Fox Piven.

Piven has been a target of demonization by right-wing mouthpiece Glenn Back of Fox News this past year, ramping the hate up to frightening levels as of late.

It is amazing that anyone can attribute the destruction of society to helping the poor, and giving voice to the ordinary citizens to better their lot. Not so amazing when viewed under the harsh realities of the Class War… the Elite Class now fears the huge underclass they have created by their extraction capitalism, and certainly wants to make an example of anyone who has spoken for People’s Rights and Reformation so that we continue to be powerless.

Distinguished Professor Frances Fox Piven received her Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. Before coming to the Graduate Center, she taught at Boston University, Columbia University, New York University Law School, the Institute of Advanced Studies in Vienna, the University of Amsterdam, and the University of Bologna. She is past Vice-President of the American Political Science Association,  has served as program co-chair of the annual political science meetings, and is a past president of the Society for the Study of Social Problems.  She is currently President of the American Sociological Association. She is the recipient of numerous awards, including the President’s Award of the American Public Health Association, and the American Sociological Association’s Career Award for the Practice of Sociology, as well as their award for the Public Understanding of Sociology. Her books deal with the development of the welfare state, political movements, urban political, and electoral politics.  Among them are REGULATING THE POOR (winner of the C. Wright Mills Award ub 1972, and updated in 1993); POOR PEOPLE’S MOVEMENTS (1977); THE NEW CLASS WAR (1982; UPDATED 1985); WHY AMERICANS DON’T VOTE (1988); THE MEAN SEASON (1987); LABOR PARTIES IN POSTINDUSTRIAL SOCIETIES (1992); THE BREAKING OF THE AMERICAN SOCIAL COMPACT (1997); WHY AMERICANS STILL DON’T VOTE (2000); and THE WAR AT HOME (2004); Challenging Authority: How Ordinary People Change America (2006).

Join us tonight, as Professor Piven helps to enlighten us on what can be done NOW, in a society that has crushed Unions, dissolved voting blocks, and damaged our economy to likely a point of no return.

Join Wild Wild Left Radio every Friday at 6pm EST, via Blog Talk Radio, with Hostess and Producer Diane Gee to guide you through Current Events taken from a Wildly Left Prospective….  her Joplinesque voice speaking straight from the heart about the real-life implications of the Political and the Class War on everyday American Citizens like you.

Amid gun lobby criticism, assault weapons reporting rule delayed

The White House, facing fierce criticism from the gun lobby, has delayed approval of a proposed rule that federal law enforcement officials say could help them stanch the flow of U.S. assault rifles and other high-powered weapons to Mexico’s drug cartels.

The proposed rule, announced by Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms acting director Kenneth Melson on Dec. 20,  would require U.S. firearms dealers in four southwest border states to report multiple sales of long guns, such as semi-automatic assault rifles which are frequently purchased by so-called “straw buyers” for the cartels. Melson had said he expected the proposed “emergency rule” would receive approval in early January 2011.

No Sleep For The Righteous

East of Cairo, the Suez, protesters are prevailing and reports of a “massacre” by police are false.

Six protesters killed.

Government website ain’t gettin back up anytime soon and the “censor” ministry is as good as down as well.

Robert Gibbs said Egypt is “still a close ally of the U.S.” and since both mean it as being allies of each other at the top levels we obviously see that the lines are drawn.

Hillary is front running like she did when Tunisia fell urging the government not to crackdown on “peaceful” protesters but any activist knows all that is is a nod to crackdown but spin it by claiming those the police happened to crack down on were “the violent ones”.

We’ve done all we can do from our side on this, all that’s left now is to watch the people tear it down by using the means of communication that have been secured for them to organize.

Air Force Academy Controlled by Radical Muslim Jihadists

This essay is a companion piece to the “Atheists and Agnostics Need Not Apply” essay by The MomCat yesterday. It’s also a followup to a comment I made near the bottom of the threads.

It’s actually fairly common knowledge that Muslim fundamentalists have been turning the USAF academy into a hell hole for non-believers. Cadets are forced to pretend they are Muslim or face harassment and /or expulsion. Additionally, the mostly Sunni staff lies uneasily in bed with the radical Shiite clerics who enforce an early test form of Sharia Law that may wrk in Uhmerica.

A lot of what I’ll be quoting here goes to Thruthdoubt. Here is their link. This essay was published 30 Sep 2010. It’s recent. Don’t let the code phrases for evangelicals confuse you with the Islamists. It’s part of the plot to slip this into the Uhmerican mainstream under the radar.

Like I said, the news is old. Here’s an article Air Force Removes Chaplain From Post

Officer Decried Evangelicals’ (read Imama’s) Influence
from WakPo dated 13 May 2005. That’s a five year time span. that’s a long term plan and a concerted effort to hijack the USAF, the Strategic Air Command and the Missile Command. This includes “Looking Glass” the nuclear super hardened command center deep in the bowels of Cheyenne Mountain.

I’m going to toss out some blockquotes so you can get a sense of what’s going on. Truthdoubt and WakPo will be the origins. I don’t need to go any further than two articles five years apart. For now. Note the one cadet quote going back to 1977.

There’s a veteran’s group, the MRFF, that follows this closely. Here’s their cred: MRFF Nominated for Nobel Peace Prize

October 27, 2009
Can you imagine that? Nobel Peace Prizes for Al Gore, Barack Hussein Obama and a bunch of supposed veterans trying to throw out the true evangelicals left standing at the USAFA. And they’ll probably win it!!! Where’s the Nobel for George W (Texas Ranger) Bush for creating the  concept of pre-emptive war in order to save lives? What is wrong with this world?

The USAF Academy is located in Colorado Springs. It’s nick name is “the Evangelical Vatican”. It’s also known as the “The Christian Mecca” as a way of throwing people off the scent. It’s part of the inside joke of what the terrorists are doing to take over our nuclear capability. Some small background via Wiki:

The military boom continued and in 1963, NORAD’s main facility was built in Cheyenne Mountain. This placed NORAD directly next to Colorado Springs and permanently secured the city’s military presence. During the Cold War the city greatly expanded due to increased revenue from various industries and the prevailing military presence in the city. In the mid 1970s, Ent Air Force Base was shut down and later converted into the United States Olympic Training Center. Military presence was further increased in 1983 with the founding of Falcon Air Force Base (later changed to Schriever Air Force Base), a base primarily tasked with missile defense and satellite control. Fort Carson and Peterson are still growing and continue to contribute to the city’s growth. Air Force Space Command is located on Peterson AFB.

Not well known, but jihadist training camps are exact copies of the US Olympic Training Center complete with demolition training and live fire exercises.

Religious institutions

Focus on the Family Visitors Center

Although houses of worship of almost every major religion can be found in the city, Colorado Springs has attracted a large influx of Evangelical Christians and Christian organizations in recent years. At one time Colorado Springs was counted to be the national headquarters for 81 different religious organizations, earning the city the tongue-in-cheek nickname “the Evangelical Vatican”[48] and “The Christian Mecca”[citation needed]. Religious groups with regional or international headquarters in Colorado Springs include: the Association of Christian Schools International, the Christian and Missionary Alliance, Compassion International, Every Home for Christ, Focus on the Family, HCJB, the International Bible Society, The Navigators, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Colorado Springs, WAY-FM Media Group, Andrew Wommack Ministries, and Young Life.

Italics mine.

Many of these organizations have about five percent of their worth skimmed into the informal Islamic banking system. They’ll deny it vehemently. The more vehemently they deny it, the more truth may be behind the rumor. Think about that for a minute.

The BQs are after the jump. Enjoy. And be sure to follow the link to the last on and read the full article. If you don’t, you’ll be leaving yourself very ignorant and vulnerable  to a Fifth Column effort in the USAF.

Allahu Akbar!
