license, then he can legally do stand alone programs. Ones that will work without having to buy the $$$$ program. Since there is no fee to him, the idea is to provide the program fee of charge to individuals. They would be able to do their spreadsheet. Then sell the program to attorneys who deal with bankruptcies and consumer protection. He did ours in Excel but easy conversion and much nicer and easier to use interface.

Pretty much what Wars are.

But as for pilots, again not including chopper pilots, they Really don't fight Wars nor for the most part do many of them care what their payloads and massfire guns do.

And being shot down than captured is a whole nother experiance, and if captured and tortured much of that has to do with your flight brothers still dropping bombs on the innocents, especially in places like 'Nam where carpet bombing was a matter of policy.

I sincerely hope it does help others. I have my youngest the spreadsheet guru working on a stand alone Filemaker Pro widget that will let people plug in their numbers and make sense of the crap their lender will give them. That is really the whole battle, being able to put all the numbers together and making sense of them. Numbers don't lie, fortunately.

Saw this in the New York Times:

WASHINGTON - The Bush administration plans to shift nearly $230 million in aid to Pakistan from counterterrorism programs to upgrading that country's aging F-16 attack planes, which Pakistan prizes more for their contribution to its military rivalry with India than for fighting insurgents along its Afghan border.
Some members of Congress have greeted the proposal with dismay and anger, and may block the move. Lawmakers and their aides say that F-16s do not help the counterterrorism campaign and defy the administration's urgings that Pakistan increase pressure on fighters of Al Qaeda and the Taliban in its tribal areas.
The timing of the action caught lawmakers off guard, prompting some of them to suspect that the deal was meant to curry favor with the new Pakistani prime minister, Yousaf Raza Gilani, who will meet with President Bush in Washington next week, and to ease tensions over the 11 members of the Pakistani paramilitary forces killed in an American airstrike along the Afghan border last month.

Counterinsurgency, counterterrorism ... botched decisions all the way down the line.

i have not made it about sides on any issue. at all.

this is not about an issue, for GODS SAKES. this isn't about my stance on race, no more than it was about the "N" word.

it is about LYING. purposely mis construing words. this is about personalities. and it is personal.

so you can try to change it and put some other face on it. but it is what it is: people purposely taking things out of context in some bizarre power play.

i have stayed away from them. the occasional comment in one of NL's thread is impartial and neutral or directly to another poster.

until i read the geomoo thing being carried from one essay into another. over fucking nothing.

they come into my essays and they bait me and lie about things i've said and mis quote me.

and i'm not the only one. i'm just one who doesn't put up with it. tell me, is the internet littered with people i've fought with? is it? tell me. who's got the pattern of this behavior? who? me? i don't think so.

but there are plenty of people who have had these encounters with some of these posters and you know it. so stop trying to paint over the mold here. buhdy.

again. i don't think you get it.

... did you keep notes while all this was going on? I recall a few of us suggesting it and wondered if you did and if it helped.

Or maybe it's all so fresh in your memory 'cause it's such a horrible story of greed and bad business that you didn't need to take notes! :-)

Shows that even folks who are doing the right thing, paying their bills, not overspending, are getting screwed.
