This is todays lesson for us all.
Yesterday I threatened the Universe, and got no result. Today I praised its shoes….and it worked! (does this prove that the Universe is a woman? Or just that it appreciates fine footwear in general?)
I am sitting in mi casa with electricity And Internet….thought the intertoobz so far are slow and cloggy, I will, I trust, soon blow out the rust. Right now…I am just stunned! Getting electricity was a shock, so to speak….but then calling the satellite guy and having him say “we will be right over” totally toasted my tootsies! The big news of course….
The launch is on!
Right now, I am going to run out to the store and buy groceries that need refrigeration before the store closes! Then, when I get back and have turned the lights on and off a few times….and stood in front of the fan…I will answer your comments…woo hoo!
In the meantime…buhdy is baaaaaack, Ponies for everyone!

We should have a Pony Party (or some less silly name like Dharmabot) account so that people who are responsible for autopublishing events don’t end up junking up their diary list with them.
pf8 has been agitating for up permissioning LEP amd UCalico, but I think this would be a better solution, because it also solves the diary list problem.
pf8 is doing a great job getting the Open Thread crew together (also includes 73rd and Robyn), but this could also be used for things like live blogging (which 73rd has been handling.
