Iran, Armageddon, and Impeachment

Booman has written an excellent diary wrapping up the coverage on the administration’s plans for Iran.  He concludes with something I couldn’t agree with more:  the

Impeach or It’s Armageddon

Sorry for such a short diary, but it’s 3 am and time for me to crash.

i think the title’s over the top, because i don’t think an attack’s a done deal. even so, it’s a rec-worthy diary- full of links, the way i like them.

Top military officers go to Hersh when they want to leak opposition to BushCo policy. It’s been very quiet on this front lately, with no mention of a pending Iraq attack in the pages of the New Yorker. When Hersh rings the alarm bell, we will know that disaster is at hand.

  1. i really, really wish i were kidding.

  2. It’s just a matter of if the UN can manage something with Iran.  I doubt they can though, possession of a nuke is a matter of national pride in the middle east now and Iran will not quit and neither will Cheney, Israel, and Saudi Arabia.  Saudi Arabia may prefer to be unnamed but I know they are the unnamed.
