i think the title’s over the top, because i don’t think an attack’s a done deal. even so, it’s a rec-worthy diary- full of links, the way i like them.
Top military officers go to Hersh when they want to leak opposition to BushCo policy. It’s been very quiet on this front lately, with no mention of a pending Iraq attack in the pages of the New Yorker. When Hersh rings the alarm bell, we will know that disaster is at hand.

It’s just a matter of if the UN can manage something with Iran. I doubt they can though, possession of a nuke is a matter of national pride in the middle east now and Iran will not quit and neither will Cheney, Israel, and Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia may prefer to be unnamed but I know they are the unnamed.
