Thank You Everyone, please unrecommend this ESSAY oops

Thank You All for your kind words and wonderful pictures.  This helped make a special day in a troubled world.  Now please unrecommend, so our important essays get the attention they deserve.

I love you all,  Alma

Ponies for Katie

My daughter Kate loves animals and always has.  She’s a vegetarian even.  Every year for her birthday, she asks for a pony.  I told her “yes” this year.  (She’s 24 so, no, she isn’t expecting a real live pony.)  LOL

I thought maybe this year I could get some help from all you kind folk here.  If you have time, and know how, could you post a pony (or really any animal) pic here to help me out?  Birthday wishes are always welcome too.  🙂

Thanks!

You are a wonderful daughter.  You always bring me smiles, and how many daughters would leave their new guinea pig for 4 days to go protest with their Mom?

    Love You!

  3. I have no ponies, but hope you have a wonderful birthday — and btw, you probably know this better than I, but you have a wonderful mom!

  4. This is the semi-official Docudharma Birthday Pony:

I’m waiting until Katie see’s all of this before commenting to everyone.  I’m sure she’s going to want to say thanks too.

Also I thought of a Kate – pony adventure she had as a wee one.  I think she was about 4 or so.

We were at one of those small carnivals with the ponies on the bars giving rides in circles.  The stable hand was cleaning up behind the pony Katie was on.  The horse got spooked and started to move his body toward the bar.  Kate started sliding off inbetween the bar and the pony.  We yelled and the stable hand grabbed her off just a second before she would have been crushed. Katie felt bad for the pony getting scared.

  5. Carrot cake, of course.

Katie. Old fatdave is too dumb to post pics, like Pooh, he is a bear of little brain. I can do you tubes though, so here are some free running ponies in our New Forest…

  7. (imagine the cutist, widdow, cuddly-wuddly litto pony ever!)

Here’s one for your mom too!

  9. I have a Katie, too – well, a Kaitlin, but she’s Katie. Nineteen.

    I don’t have a pony, but I have a puppy!

    Here’s Bonesy…who just turned 3 months old yesterday! She’s a goofy pug-a-poo puppy:

Below pic is Bones just three months ago (she’s the tiny one in my daughter’s left hand…) with her sisters Lucy, Wednesday, and Porkman:

  10. Enjoy!

Wishing you all the ponies, puppies & (guinea) pigs you could every want!

  11. for your “party” last night and it certainly was a really special one at that.

It’s almost a year now since D.C. — remember it so well!

Here’s some Shetlands for you — after the party?  😉

    and some flowers:

    Love,
    Tahoe

  12. from a cowgirl also now without horses…

I know what you mean.  Horses are great.  If only about 9/10 of the vehicles on earth could be replaced with them.
