Two soldiers who wrote NY Times op-ed killed in action

Over at dkos, Brandon Friedman has a diary up reporting that two of the seven soldiers who wrote that outstanding  NY Times op ed critical of the fiasco in Iraq have been killed in action.

I’m sad. I’m so angry.

Fine, honorable, courageous, intelligent men…lost to the madness of this war and this President.
We are less without them.

  1. I haven’t read the circumstances yet, but I am so not surprised. That’s how we treat whistle-blowers.  We demand that they do the right thing, then we leave them to their own devices, and they are killed off.
