    You’re giving coffee to your loins? We are all free to make our choices in life so I won’t provide the obvious counsel one might in this situation. Sugar might makes things sticky.

  17. I trust you’re getting to that beach today.

    Once, only once! on the orange place I TR’d someone (they just kept on asking for it) and I posted the definition of ad hominem and then retracted the TR.  I think it was a child.  (Other than that one accidental TR, quickly changed when pointed out).  I’m not the kind.

    From that experience I hereby bequeath the following text to you/admin for posterity:

    Ad Hominem:  An ad hominem argument, also known as argumentum ad hominem (Latin: “argument to the person”, “argument against the man”) consists of replying to an argument by attacking or appealing to the person making the argument, rather than by addressing the substance of the argument. It is most commonly used to refer specifically to the ad hominem abusive, or argumentum ad personam, which consists of criticizing or personally attacking an argument’s proponent in an attempt to discredit that argument.

    That kind of thing was what left me wide-eyed yesterday, like a stunned, dying fish sitting at the puter.

    Back to black light posters, flower power and tootling, I hope.  The place smells great today once again (heh heh)!
