Longest-running Presidency…at least it seems that way. Spoof of CATS poster by Tigana

http://blog.wired.co…
“At a press briefing this morning that touched on issues like the White House’s extrajudicial wiretapping program and torture policies, the president was asked a question about Vladimir Putin’s plan to hold on to power when his term as Russian president runs out.
Reporter: Mr. President, following up on Vladimir Putin for a moment, he said recently that next year, when he has to step down according to the constitution, as the president, he may become prime minister; in effect keeping power and dashing any hopes for a genuine democratic transition there …
Bush: I’ve been planning that myself.”

Remember when you knew what happiness was?

want to give up ALL that power?  Bush/Cheney want to stay…
Tigana, I love that graphic up top, it’s awesome.

  1. one diary that talks about the Bushco and global warming, to Bushco and WWIII, to permanenet Bushco . . .

  2. That so-called spoof of Bush is a little too close to reality for me.  Whether or not he is spoofing, you know that’s how he would have it.

I think I’ll just go regurgitate now!

too deeply if he’s ” been planning it” himself. He’s fucked up every other task he’s put his hand to from the date he said his first “heh”.

referred to “when he leaves power” instead of when he “leaves office”. I wonder if that was Freudian? Of course he answered it.

Why is it suddenly fashionable to refer to the office as “POWER”? Is he some kind of freakin’ dictator?

I guess we all know the answer to that!

  3. You really can’t trust anything he says from one day to the next.

Bush was visiting this small town and making “nice-nice” to people.

Low in Polls, Bush Makes More Time for Friendly Crowds
By Sheryl Gay Stolberg / New York Times
    ROGERS, Ark., Oct. 15 –
    “. . . .
The kicker came from a girl who asked when he thought there would be “a girl president” – from the Republican Party.

“You took my line,” the president replied, apparently thinking for a moment that he was being asked about Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, Democrat of New York. “I think there will – a lady will be president, you know, and she’ll be a Republican.”

  4. wooo. It totally describes my plans for Halloween and my sense of extreme terror at what bushco plans.

I don’t think they are leaving office. And, you know, that’s fine. There will be a RESPONSE.
