Did I just feed somebody?

How many grains of rice is a meal, does anyone know? Thanks to Crashing Vor in the Dkos OT for linking to this site,  FreeRice.com 

It is a vocabulary thing, multiple choice, and for every word you get right, they’ll donate 10 grains of rice to an international aid agency.  If you get it right, you get a harder word. If wrong, you get an easier word. It is no gimme! I got five or six wrong on the way to donating 500 grains….is that a meal?

  10. at the same time…I got to 1000 grains teetering between level 47 and 48 – thanks to Safari’s Dashboard Dictionary 🙂

    I went to this page at 11:30 and was u till almost 1 pm!!!! I got 7000+ grains and couldn’t do any more, I’d miss one or 2 and then get the next three! It’d tell me to keep trying…all those little gains, I figured I gotten a small bowl of rice for someone…I just kept missing but it wouldn’t let me go!!!! Who knows, it is probably waiting for me to try again! The demon word site is haunting me!  Maybe another rice bowl tonite?
    BTW, Thanx…now I can put away Bejeweled!
