What Conservatives Whine About

I believe that those who are conservatives would either explode or spontaneously combust if they didn’t have something to Whine About. What do conservatives like to whine about?

Google draws fire over its special logos

The Internet search engine honors Sputnik, but not the U.S. military on Memorial Day and Veterans Day
Should the world’s most-used search engine be more of a Yankee Google Dandy?

Google Inc. occasionally features light-hearted doodles on its colorful home-page logo to commemorate special occasions. But now they are drawing criticism from conservatives for not being more patriotic.

The Mountain View, Calif., company bathes its logo in stars and stripes every Independence Day, but last week’s decision to honor the 50th anniversary of the Sputnik launch — the second “g” in Google was replaced with a drawing of the Soviet satellite — is being blasted by some conservatives.

Just because it was the first man made object to achieve orbit above the earth means nothing.

Right Wing Launches Baseless Smear Campaign Against 12 Year Old Recipient Of SCHIP

Two weeks ago, the Democratic radio address was delivered by a 12-year old Maryland boy named Graeme Frost. Graeme told his story of being involved in a severe car accident three years ago, and having received access to medical care because of the Children’s Health Insurance Program. He said:

If it weren’t for CHIP, I might not be here today. … We got the help we needed because we had health insurance for us through the CHIP program. But there are millions of kids out there who don’t have CHIP, and they wouldn’t get the care that my sister and I did if they got hurt. … I just hope the President will listen to my story and help other kids to be as lucky as me.

Of course NO Republican would ever use children to promote a cause. Like when George Bush vetoed the bill on Stem Cell research.  Michelle Malkin  actually went to their home and place of business so that she could prove they were well off financially. For conservatives those who are in need of assistance are just lazy no good for nothing slackers who refuse to work. That’s why 47 million Working Americans can’t afford health insurance.

Oh Those Phony Soldiers and the Right Wing: No they still haven’t stopped complaining the Left Wing’s attack on poor little Rush Limbaugh and what he “really” meant by that phony solider remark.

Answering Media Matters: A Real Time-Line of the “Phony Soldiers” Controversy
By Carrie Lukas Monday, October 8, 2007
Media Matters has criticized me for my recent comments about Rush Limbaugh’s so-called “phony soldier” statement. On the Fox News Channel, I said that “about 30 seconds” after Rush used the term “phony soldier” he began talking about Jesse MacBeth (the war critic who lied about his military record). According to Media Matters, it is actually one minute and fifty seconds later: I was off by eighty seconds.

This hardly seems a critical distinction. If it wasn’t completely clear who Rush was referring to when he used the initial phrase, it became clear shortly thereafter. I hadn’t timed the lapse between the “phony soldier” term and the start of his next “Jesse MacBeth” statement-in the midst of a heated conversation, I used the term “thirty seconds” when what I really meant was “a short period of time later.” However in hindsight, given Media Matters’ increasingly desperate efforts to save face, I ought to have been more precise.

That’s here’s the “Real Time Line” concerning Media Matters and the Phony Solider statement made by Mr. Stimulant Pill. Conveniently forgetting that Media Matters proved through both audio and written transcripts that Viagra smuggler not only made the phony solider comment but that the audio and the transcript were later changed to reflect what the Little Popper “really said.” It’s OK we all know Rush is a Man’s Man, True Patriot and Defender of the Faith. To bad none of those previous statements are even close to the truth.
