I was searching for something today and came across one of my old Dkos diaries wherein I had assembled links to what I considered to be some of the best Impeach!!! diaries written on Daily Kos. impeachment was the way out of this mess, especially after watching that Bill Moyer’s Journal piece you linked to up above. But especially since the 2006 elections, I think too many Dems have gone on record voting for the Bushco crimes (ie FISA). I’ve lost a good bit of hope in that as a solution.
I summarized my current thinking about our situation in my diary The King Stay The King that is currently scrolling towards oblivion here.
There are times when presenting factual evidence in Impeachment diaries can have a productive effect.
And there are times when adding a dose of fire and brimstone to the presentation can have a productive effect:

Why doesn’t anyone listen to the historioranters? Does it have anything to do with the History Channel showing Ice Road Truckers?
To think: If Congress had followed our freely (if vocally) given advice back then…well, it’d be a different, better America already.
I also see the case for impeachmnet and find it irresistable…..
hence my confusion and curiousity about my fellow americans….
the far right is always going to stand by their man, snicker……
the left and progressive folks find him to be criminal…..
the center !?!…….
and the politics of the capital class !?!…….
reason does not seem to be a place with leverage in these groups……
other values are being conserved……
so, what are these values and how can they be engaged…..
or can they ?!?…..
because if they can not impeachment is moot……
