  2. in the Guardian about how Paris Hilton is taking it upon herself to help save the drunken effelents of Northern India. You simply can’t make this shit up….

    Conservationists today hailed the socialite Paris Hilton, who was convicted of drink driving earlier this year, for apparently trying to highlight the problem of binge-drinking elephants in north-eastern India.

    Activists said the celebrity endorsement would raise awareness of the plight of pachyderms that got drunk on farmers’ homemade rice beer and went on the rampage.

    Last month, six wild elephants that broke into a farm in the state of Meghalaya were electrocuted after discovering and drinking the potent brew before uprooting an electricity pylon.

  4. as I’ve been crawling around and looking at who is linking to us and why as well as who is finding us and why a few truths popped right out at me:

    1. Using the names of gods goddesses, philosophers, historic figures etc. in your essays brings in a whole new wave of visitors to the site that may or may not have political leanings.

    2. The netroots in general thinks very highly of this project and is giving it their support.  Over 1000 new links are registered to here on Yahoo over the past 2 weeks.

    3. Staying off the particular topic du’jour will bring in a deeper more meaningful audience.  What do i mean by that?  Well right now the swarm is over a statement made about Hillary being a bitch.  Let those swarms pass, they are relatively meaningless, people tire of them quickly, stay focused.
