Chaos has arrived

Hey all,

I am officially turned off to that “other site”, looks orange and big. So I am hanging out here. I promise to bring environmental goodness, a few conspiracy theories, random essays and general snarkiness to the site.

I am not bashing but I want to state that the level of “see it our way or leave” at the big orange has reached junior high click status. I will still skim to see if anything new is going on over there, maybe after the elections it will return to a place of knowledge and sanity.

Budhy invited me here a long time ago and I visited a few times but did not want to get caught up in a blog addiction of reading tons of different blogs so stuck with the big guy. Now however, with what has happened to the big orange I am looking for a refuge of sanity and civility. So here I am.

My kitties wish to say hi to your ponies….

  1. I liked reading your environmental stuff over at the other place, hope it continues here.

Absurd snark and getting your freak on is always applauded here. Dance on the table.

    And sometimes it is optional.

  2. … just because its a trojan horse blog camouflaged as a diary series on the Daily Kos is not reason not to visit it.

    Burning the Midnight Oil

That’s a tagpage, so on the upside, its bookmarkable, on the downside its another whole click to get into the current edition of the blog. On the upside, two whole clicks will keep a lot of the riff raff out.

glad to have you here! and i really love the tigers in the kiddy pool.

looking forward to reading your stuff!!!

  3. Beauties, too.  And they look so content sitting there in the pool.

  4. The orange candidate mania/bashing has me down. It’s brought out the best in some and the worst in most.

  5. this however offers no escape from the reality just the delusions of partisan solutions. so welcome and good to see you. I always respected your thoughts posts and recommends. Each place seems to have it’s merits this site is not so involved with the fight of the partisan but more with the long term humanity.

  6. it is woderful that you would consider being a dharmaniac…

look forward to more environmental essays……

someone posted the first real candidate diary on here, and it was followed with a “um… Is this okay?  Can we post these here?”  And the rest of us looked around and said, “Um… we guess so?”

This is definitely a less stressful place to hang out at the moment.

  8. I think you’ll fit in purrrfectly here!  DocuDharma is certainly a Strange Attractor.

  10. I will be posting and environmental diary tonight here. It will make me prep it for the Orange Satan Overnight News Digest on Thursday hehe.

I work 6 days a week, 2 1/2 days and one whole day off so I will probably post more during that day off.
