Iraq Moratorium #7: Berkeley, CA

Photos from IM Day in Berkeley. It was a warm sunny day – much in contrast with xofferson’s blizzard experience.

That’s dedication!

The regular (and also very dedicated) group from the Strawberry Creek Lodge (a Senior residence) were out standing or sitting, on all 4 corners of a busy intersection in Berkeley. Some were there representing the Grey Panthers and of course, there is the Iraq Moratorium contingent (organized by our very own dharmasyd). Others have joined just from seeing us on the corner every month.  There seem to be more new people coming out each time.

This is a Cal student at her first protest!  She seemed pretty excited to come out and hold a sign (that’s my sign, btw).

  1. I’m sure that breaks all of the rules, but who cares?  Nice report.

  2. I’m going to steal some of these photos for the reports on the Iraq Moratorium website.  I assume you won’t sue.  Check it out to see what others did; reports are still coming in and will be for most of next week.

  3. …great photos, beautiful work.

      Big hugs and thanks.

You are getting more people each time.  ðŸ™‚  I know there was one where you were worried because the count seemed down.  Glad that was just an aboration.

My how beautiful and sassy our Syd looks!

    You go girls!  ðŸ™‚

that being anti-war is not the same as being anti-Repub, although on some blogs it seems to be the same.

If you ask me about hot-button issues, I’ll make those on the right happy 50% of the time and those on the left happy 50% of the time, for certain reasons.

Americans have been sold, by the U.S. government and MSM, a bill of goods about the Iraqi mis-adventure.

Distrust the U.S. government and the U.S. political process, and you’ll be correct more than half the time, IMO.
