I’ll keep this short, because frankly, I never met him.
Professor Ashley Morris is one of the wittiest, sharpest bloggers on life in New Orleans, post-Katrina. For the past few years, I’ve been making it a point to check out his blog two or three times a week, which is how I learned that on Wednesday, New Orleans lost a champion.

I was never clear if Ashley was an angry funny man or a funny angry man, but he had a way of finding the humor through the pain.
And for those who knew him better than I, his widow is having trouble finding his will and his lawyer… so maybe you can help?
In addition to his family, Ashley is survived by other things he loved: NOLA, the Saints, and the music of Warren Zevon.
RIP.
