Just sayin……

When in the course of human Events, it becomes necessary for one People to dissolve the Political Bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the Powers of the Earth, the separate and equal Station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent Respect to the Opinions of Mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the Separation.

But when a long Train of Abuses and Usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a Design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their Right, it is their Duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future Security.

    Bush:  starting an illegal war

    Congress:  funding the illegal war

    Bush:  illegally spying on Americans

    Congress:  giving retroactive immunity for illegal spying.

    Bush:  violating the Geneva Convention and committing war crimes.

    Congress:  giving legal cover for violations and failing to investigate war crimes effectively.

    Bush:  violating US and ancient laws with respect to habeas corpus.

    Congress:  passing unconstitutional laws as cover for violation of habeas corpus.

    Bush:  politicizing the DOJ

    Congress:  failing to exercise their constitutional authority to investigate crimes against the constitution.

    Bush:  disregarding and violating the constitution repeatedly.

    Congress:  failing to restore our constitutional government by exercising their checks on executive power.

    It goes on and on.  As of today, the US Congress is as guilty as Bush of gutting our constitution.
