Blackwater Dropping Security

Well, well, Blackwater, after ripping off the United States people with their extremely high priced Mercenary Forces, and getting U.S. troops killed from the blowback of their actions are now dropping their security details, apparently because it’s bad for their business bottom line!!

AP Interview: Blackwater plans shift from security contracting, blaming its notoriety in Iraq

Blackwater Worldwide said Monday that it planned a shift away from the security contracting business that earned it millions of dollars and made it a flash point in the debate over the use of security contractors in war zones.

“The experience we’ve had would certainly be a disincentive to any other companies that want to step in and put their entire business at risk,” company founder and CEO Erik Prince told The Associated Press during a daylong visit to the company’s North Carolina compound.

They’re Mercs, and now Prince is Whining, poor baby!!

Nothing worse than a whiny mercenary, hired gun!

The company has made hundreds of millions of dollars defending U.S. diplomats in Iraq, one of several government contracts that earned Blackwater more than $1 billion since 2001.

Overpriced hired guns on No-Bid contracts and more than shady business practices, Prince walks away, still in business, but wealthier by far on our money!

“Our focus is away from security work. We’re just not bidding on it,” Jackson said.

  1. Made their Blood Money War Profits and caused the Deaths and Maimings of untold numbers of U.S. Troops by their cowboy actions, so for them it’s time to get out of Dodge!!

    They’ll popup in any number of other conflicts, and some will enjoy just like the Torturers and War Mongers of this world!

  4. Defense Secretary Robert Gates wants to know why his military uses private contractors for combat and security training, and how widespread the practice is.

    He’s asking for answers from the Pentagon’s top military officer, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Adm. Mike Mullen.

    “In my mind, the fundamental question that remains unanswered is this: Why have we come to rely on private contractors to provide combat or combat-related security training for our forces?” Gates wrote in a memo to Mullen that was released Monday to The Associated Press by the office of Sen. Jim Webb, D-Va.

    White water: (usually) potable, clean, fresh water.

    Grey water: washwater, soapy water, all waste water except toilet (and garbage disposal) wastes.

    Blackwater: sewage, water containing fecal matter and urine, “Blackwater contains pathogens which need to decompose before they can be released safely into the environment.”  (Thanks Wiki, I couldn’t have said it better myself).

    Mercenaries are the lowest of the low.

  6. the mercenaries on the ground acting as troops. Somewhere today in my net travels I heard that no one will answer the question of how many mercenary troops there are in Iraq, or talk about what ‘withdrawal’ means in regards to this arm of ‘our’ force. So they privatized both the regular armed forces (what a term,yikes) and then supplemented them with Oliver’s army to what degree, will we ever know? all branches are all the corporations private strong arm.
