Credit Where Credit is Due

I was happy to see this over at Huffington Post:

At a John McCain rally in Woodbridge, Virginia, three people handed out “Obama for Change” bumper stickers with the Communist sickle and hammer and the Islamic crescent, saying Obama was a socialist with ties to radical Islam. Several moderate McCain supporters, Muslim and Christian alike, struck back – relentlessly bombarding the group distributing the flyers until they left the premises.

I will never understand how these rational folks could want to vote for McCain, but I applaud their action.  This is beyond electoral politics, I think.  The kind of hate speech and activity we’ve been seeing crawl out of the woodwork since the McCain/Palin campaign has decided to go negative isn’t good for anyone, right or left.

Here’s the video:

is encouraging racists to feel comfortable bringing this kind of crap to his rallies by not directly comdemning it himself.

on so many explosive levels has had me very afraid of what it might bring about.  And I usually don’t get scared of much of anything.

This has given me a glimmer of hope that maybe a real dialogue on such important issues can be had.  I think the bigots might listen/think about what their fellow republicans have to say, where they would just ignore us.  So now I’m hopful that we can have discussions that might further real equality.  I’ve been working on that with my fellow racist and religeous Dems.  I’ve found a whole slew of them here in my town.  Unfortunatley only one of them seems to know his feelings are ethically and morally wrong.  I’m not going to give up though, and I know others are working on it here too.  Including a lifelong republican I know who is, I think, voting for Obama this year.

  3. there was a similar video about a Faux News reporter getting shouted down to he chant “Fuck Fox News”.  At first this entire affair brought a smile to my face but in hindsight this is a very bad sign.  We are far too diverse in the levels of disinformation people accept, hold as true and call the other side “the evil” incarnate.  This is going to make life difficult when barter becomes an acceptable trade method.

Being a student of the Illuminati I associate the term “hate speech” with the left side of politics.  I agree that the neo-con thugs of the past eight years are criminals even to the point of accepting the highest eschelons of the secret government planned, carried out and then covered up 911, poorly and with the calculated future effect of having the entire rest of the world move on leaving the US to it’s dumbed down illusions of grandious empirical dreams.

So yes I am kind of a pain in the ass to both political parties and both of their 7 second media approved talking point punditry.  Think of the green energy saving benefits of shutting all of this shit off but then again how would one know whom to trust.  If they were acting in your best interests.

Horses and horse sense.  My horse is 1300 pounds. I can only ask him to trust me and get in the trailer I can’t make him.  You nor I can make people have a genuine concern for their fellow man either.

In my detachment from the conventional is see evil in both “sides”, but that is just me and the other New World Order tin foil hatters.
