Couples ask Supreme Court: ‘Don’t divorce us’

(10 am. – promoted by ek hornbeck)

California’s Courage Campaign, which describes itself as the online organizing hub for nearly 400,000 progressive Californians, has produced this video, asking viewers to sign a petition to the State Supreme Court asking that 18,000 same sex marriages already performed in California be allowed to stand, and that Proposition 8, banning gay marriage, be overturned.

In the other corner: Kenneth Starr.  It’s a powerful video that speaks for itself, so I will stop typing:

  1. to stand up and be counted

  2. doen’t give a fat rat’s ass about the families of gay couples, of THEIR children.  It is more than hypocrisy, it is stunning disregard for the quality of life for those children.   Certainly children with same sex parents need and deserve the same protections wingnut’s children not only enjoy but take for granted.  Imagine the good they could accomplish if they spent all that time, energy and money deciding who gets rights, actually going something constructive. Most of us already know what Jesus would do, wingnuts on the other hand have no clue.

  3. C’mon people, now, smile on your brother, everybody get together try to love one another right now.

    What a beautiful video.  Wow!!
