In about an hour On The Bus is going to start a front page liveblog of the Senate Judiciary Committee’s hearings on establishing an investigation of the numerous crimes committed by the administration of George W. Bush.
The evidence is already clear and undebatable. George W. Bush and Richard Cheney have publicly confessed on video tape.

Funny thing about Iran/Contra hearings… They were in 1986 or 1987? I became quite obsessed with them to the point that my friends and family did not want to hear any more about them. I read every newspaper article/watched every TV program. I was convinced at the time (and I was young and naive)that if people just paid attention they would a) conclude that Reagan should be impeached and b)that there had more or less been a coup in the government.
I was so frustrated at the time that nobody could see what I could see. I think I was working and taking a few summer classes.
Finally a professor who used to teach me and knew of my weird obsession, he was a Brit ex-pat hard line lefty patiently explained to me that I had to snap out of it, the working classes were not going to rise up, Americans were all brain washed and Canadians weren’t far behind. He gave me this very bleak assessment of things all done in this cheerful upbeat voice washed down with several beers.
I don’t know what the point of mentioning tall this was…. I think I might have dropped off the edge of reality a bit during that time.

The truth is out there it’s just a question of being able to actually look at it, stripping away the myths of politics no easy chore as the liars control the flow of information and seek only to obscure the truths. They all are hooked together from the economy to the killing one and the same. Must be breakable as they literally have no leg to stand on.
