I should not be surprised, but dkos is going to town on this, with multiple front page posts, a mothership diary at the top of the rec list and more.

  2. there IS that one diary by edscan… that one is NOT about the teabaggers.

    OO

  3. I was thinkin’ about pardoning some more turkeys at the Wasilla Teabaggin’ party — would that spice things up for ya?

  4. . . . at the teabagger parties is probably gawkers from DailyKos.

Apparently there aren’t really as many nuts in this country as we’ve been led to believe.

My wife has been exasperated for several days to keep hearing about teh stupid.  “Why are they covering this?”

Much as I hate to interfere with the sensible spirit of a concise diary, I herein offer a contrarian view.  A major media outlet is promoting these things, complete with their usual “reporting.”  It is a propaganda effort, and one with a lot of money and power behind it.  I do think it deserves a response.  Such responses to the issue of the day will necessarily be shallow and shrill, which I suppose is your point.  I find them demeaning, yet I do jump in sometimes for fun despite myself.  How I look at it is: progressive shallow and shrill sees conservative shallow and shrill and raises it several IQ levels.
