Fireworks: Photos

Memphis in May is a month long celebration of various events that generally involve rain, mud, and varying levels of debauchery/consumption. Last night was a mellow evening.

I took a few pictures. I tried to do something different with the fireworks, not sure I succeeded.

    Down the beach from our house up north lives a licensed pyotechnician.   We all haul our beach chairs, blankets, and build fires to watch his great show out over the bay.  These 4ths are the best ever since the 60s when we could watch Detroit’s fire works from the 11th floor of the Towers with a drink and a joint in our hands.

    Thanks for reminding me of these memories, undercovercalico. One day, I’ll share my pictures, too.  Ha!  I have a photo of a foot, not mine, and several of my lap.   I have framing issues.
