CNN Pres: Birther coverage “Legit”, MSNBC Pres: Birthers “Racist”. Okay, so how about Buchanan?

    On Friday, the Southern Poverty Law Center called on CNN to fire Dobbs for trading in “racist conspiracy theories.” And some of Dobbs’ staff at CNN have told him and network executives that they are uncomfortable with his persistent focus on the story.

    Klein defended Dobbs, saying that the host’s treatment of the so-called “birther” movement has been “legitimate.”

    Does this guy even watch his own network? Or does he just prefer to let Dobbs’s xenophobic McCarthyistic mania masquerade as objective journalism?

    Though Klien has told Dobbs that the birther story is a dead end that has not stopped Dobbs from making it news. In this way, the story is kept alive and made more legit. Journalism FAIL.

     Still, the claims about Mr. Obama’s citizenship persist among a small but vocal group, essentially portraying Mr. Obama as a foreigner who has managed to conceal his origins for nearly five decades.

    “It’s racist,” said Phil Griffin, the president of MSNBC. “It’s racist. Just call it for what it is.”

    So CNN’s President stands behind Dobbs becuase of his years of experience despite the fact that he is a whackjob who fears a One World Government New World Order and the illegal immigrants are the problem behind everything that is wrong with America, and MSNBC’s President says that the brithers are racist, which is pretty much obvious, but he fails to mention that he employs an out right racist himself.

    You can’t have it both ways guys. CNN can NOT pretend to be for reals journalists and stand behind Lou Dobbs’s nightly Alex Jones/David Icke impersonation with a staright face while calling themselves a legitamate News reporters, and at the same time MSNBC can’t pretend that “birthers” are racists while ignoring the Ku Klux Konservative Buchanan and the bile he spews on a daily basis on their own airwaves.

    For all of his righteous indignation I can not recall Keith Olberman ever making Pat Buchanan the Worst Person In The World, and there is a good reason for it. No one wants to bite the hand that feeds them, even if they are feeding you bullshit.

    So when does the bullshit end if no one ever says anything about it?

    And saying something about it isn’t good enough when you ignore it in your own house.

    Our free press is not free, not as long as it is enslaved by a for profit Corporatist system.

    The fact is that the birther movement is a racist movement, a Conspiracy Theory advanced by those who refuse to recognize a black man is the legitimate President. It is being advanced for political reasons. Pure and simple.

    But the racist on the other network is just as bad as the one on your own.

Fox News – Media arm of the GOP

CNN – FoxNews lite and Alex Jones wannnabees

MSNBC – who will never hold themselves accounatble though they deem to do so for others.

    With News channels like these, who needs Propaganda or Conspiracy Theories?
