Gordon Liddy, a Sad, Dottery Fool . 20090724

I just watched Hardball (The Tweetie Show), and damned old Gordon Liddy was a “guest”.  He looks very poorly, and speaks almost in a whisper.

He is  “birther”, or one that does not believe that our President is a natural born citizen of the United States.  Unlike the horrible folks Hannity and Limbaugh, I thing that Liddy actually believes his own distortions.

Of course, Liddy has no moral compass except for how to make money.  He was one of the Watergate folks, then arrested Timothy Leary for drugs, and then went on lectures with Leary to make money.  Nice guy.

He recently has been hawking gold (like Hannity, except Hannity’s gold broker got busted for a Ponzi scheme a couple of months ago) and spoke with vigor.  He had no vigor this evening.

His voice was not much more than a whisper, very unlike him.  He tried to confirm his “birther” “facts”, but was unable to do so.  Tweetie took him apart.  I have two theories, and will go ahead and present them.

The first one is that Liddy is getting senile.  That is the most likely.

The second is that he, in addition to becoming senile, he is….  No, I will not speculate there.  I think that he is getting senile.  He never was in his right mind (remember on his talk show how he recommended head or groin shots with a powerful weapon if the police invaded?)  This guy has never been right, and he is decomposing before our eyes.  Although I wish no harm on anyone, I can not think of anyone better for the karma to find.

I know that this is not a very cogent essay, but Liddy has bothered me since I was a kid.

Warmest regards,

Doc

Liddy’s a convicted felon, a certifiable authoritarian wacko, a pathological liar, and a dying old man. Guess Tweety’s run out of interesting people to appear on his circle jerk.

  1. including MSNBC. Last night after sitting through Libby, I heard from Chuck Todd (the new Streak) how the internet is responsible for the insane birthers getting traction. Then on Countdown heard David Schuster yell at, and through, some sane guy that said it was the TV that legitimized the unhinged right by trotting out the like of torture advocate Cheney’s daughter and the birthers. It was revolting. Every night on any given station the people who ought to be in prison are given a platform to spew hate and fear, and treated like their just an alternative view point.

Meanwhile the dance goes on, and all the powers that be are making hay and wrecking the place. Libby is a psycho so was Bush, but no one on the TV would ever ever question the morality or sanity of the perps, or themselves as the catapulter’s of propaganda.

I then watched TV’s most respected newsman Jon Stewart, and was treated to a breath of reality that made me die laughing. Cobert outdid himself last night, with his health care coverage and is so surreal that he takes it to art. Comedy Central the only news that’s worth watching. Sad but funny. Speaking of senile is Tweety the dumbest talking head or is Wolf?
