  1. Audaciously

I’d stand right there with him. I’d be so proud.

but not at all surprised by any of this.It is business as usual, look that way >>> at those holier than thou Republicans cheating on their spouses and that silly girl from Alaska who thinks she can be President. I want to know how anyone is defending this?

  2. has been reporting about Urumqi troubles. I saw a few minutes on NBC Brian Wms the other night, that was ….ugh. Bugged me.

Then there was this tonight, not bad, on ABC News.

ABC’s Clarissa Ward reports from Urumqi, the capital of China’s north-western Xianjiang province:

We went on a mission today to find the Uighur woman who stood up to Chinese security forces on Tuesday, as she and other women protested the mass arrests of Uighur men. The images of her boldly walking up to the wall of soldiers are undoubtedly some of the most striking of this conflict.  Some have compared her to the lone student protestor who stood in front of the tank on Tiananmen Square in 1989.

Follow the link to see the pic.

When we asked if she was not frightened walking up to a line of heavily armed soldiers she retorted, “How could I be afraid when I did not commit any crime? We’re just migrant workers from another part of Xinjiang. We’re not guilty of anything.”

Its interesting, now and then, to go to MSM evening news and see what most people* are hearing being told.

    * you know, people who don’t blog.

  3. …Obama tried to make (very inappropriately) about this situation.  At some event where he was speaking he said:

       “Leave it to Uighurs!”

When almost noone laughed, Obama said he thought it was a pretty good joke!  Oy!

  4. betrayal. I feel the fool as I went out in my liberal real life community and convinced as many as I could to vote for change. I even dragged those who saw voting as a waste of time to participate. I feel like going back and apologizing to them, even the Hilary supporter down the street who wouldn’t speak to me for months.

Those online who fancy themselves in the know will argue this is all that’s possible but those who ponied up their votes in ‘hope’ for relief are paying the price of buying tainted goods. I should have known when the political bosses from the campaign said ‘Don’t talk policy just tell your story.’

In a way this is harder to combat then the odious Bushies who were so overtly evil that only the ever ignorant 30% didn’t want them gone. They have turned this illegality and immorality into the way things are, codified the unthinkable. If Obama is a chess playing dude then he has us all in check and has used the fools play effectively. I can’t play chess as I always lose it in the first couple of moves, and just tip the board over much to the delight of the grandkids who are the only ones who bother to get me to play.

In this case I fear we the people don’t even count as pawns were just the masses who deliver the power and money for their games. Tipping the board over seems the sane thing to do. Pretty obvious at this point that nothing is going to change except the fact that were even further down the rabbit hole that calls this reality, democracy and law.
