Chances are, these good Senators, while they hear us, have some other Constituents, always on their minds.
There are some very special interests who somehow, manage to persuade our Senators, to represent their interests, time and time again.
Can you detect the “means and methods” those special interests, use to make their demands known? … There MUST be a pattern here, somewhere!
The Republicans – Finance Committee
————
The Democrats – Finance Committee
================
And a few other Democrats, not on the Finance Committee, but pace-setters in their own right.
Funny those special interests seem to be “equal opportunity” influencers– R or D behind your Name, no matter. Long as you got one of those all important Committee Seats … the Language of Money, is quite liquid, don’t you know.
The expressions of our Citizen Outrage on the other hand, are a “dime a dozen”, to our confused and conflicted Leaders.
When will they stand up for What the People want? EVER???
What excuse will those “good” Senators, use next, to avoid, Doing the Right Thing? (to avoid the Fighting for a serious Public Option — instead of widdling it away.)
I’m sure they’ll think of something — a lot is riding on it. (But hmmm, how to pull the wool over everyone’s eyes again? THAT is going to be some trick now, with Al Franken about to be seated.)
Of course there is a wildcard — you could always drop a dime, give them a call, and then give them a piece of your mind. Maybe remind why we voted them into office, and how we can vote them out too — if it comes to that.
Future Votes, is another Language, those good Senators, tend to understand, too.
