    Quicksilver Messenger Service:  Fresh Air

Steve Miller Band:  Children of the Future

We have no idea when the truck from California will arrive.

  1. An interesting band in that they represent well a particular year or two in the late sixties when to be “psychedelic” was a badge of supposed authenticity.

“In a Gadda da Vida” is an almost Spinal Tap like take on Acid Rock.

I am not meaning to disparage Iron Butterfly, I was fourteen or fifteeen at the time they were popular and I thought they were cool.

Bottom line is Iron Butterfly appeared to be lacking in a couple of areas: originality and talent.

Thanks for the walk down memory lane.

sorry to admit, I remember most of them

    (man am i old, lol)

reminded me of this old band,

    I hadn’t heard in ages,

which was from around the same era:

    cheers!

  2. Pioneer Supertuner and eight tracks.  Of course, I’ve never really gotten past that as far as music!

  3. Happy and I’m Smiling

    Walk a Mile

    to Drink your Water

    You know

    I’d love to love you,

    And above you

    there’s no other.

    We’ll go walking out

    While others shout

    of war’s disaster.

    Oh, we won’t give in,

Lets go living in the past.

Once I used to join in

Every boy and girl was my friend.

    Now there’s revolution,

    but they dont know

    What theyre fighting.

    Let us close out eyes;

    Outside their lives

    go on much faster.

    Oh, we wont give in,

We’ll keep living in the past.
  4. Fantastic set.

Every music offering reflects flashbacks to stories of my past.

    Thank you.

I really have never regretted anything so the memories are all good.

  5. .

    “DRINKING SONGS”
