I understand the need to protect artist’s property and I agree something needs to be done about piracy, but why all the secrecy. I believe their ultimate goal is to shut down free speech on the internet, ala the Chinese model, and this is the first step in that effort. Sites like DD may be closed down or choked to death, if they put up free speech zones for protesters, what’s to stop them from doing it on the net? Maybe that’s why Dkos is so restrictive in what you can say.  

At the very least we’ll have to be very careful about the pictures we post on here and you can forget embedded youtube clips. It’s coming, it’s just a matter of time, IMO. Contact your congresscritter and give them an earful, who knows it might help. This is just more proof that corporate money controls everything. Enjoy the net while you still can, next in line will be killing net neutrality and two tiered web browsing. Thanks for the links LH.
