The photos featured on these essays can be thought of as a Rorschach Test for us all. When I saw the photo, the cover from the Jackson Browne album, “Running on Empty”, immediately came to mind. So, was “Running on Empty” a prescient commentary upon our current condition or rather, just a great road song?

And, on the topic of road music, just for a little levity (once you get past the 30-second ad at the beginning)…

This tune plays in my head constantly.
Good to have the boys back, and I’m liking the maturation in the sound. A lot.
