I thought mistakes at Fox would have consequences?
Guess not.
Last week, Fox and Friends showed a Rasmussen poll graphic revealing that a whopping 120 percent of the American public believes scientists may be falsifying research to support their own theories on global warming:
Fox News’ graphics department added together the “very likely” and “somewhat likely” numbers to reach 59 percent, and called that new group “somewhat likely.” Then, for some reason, they threw in the 35 percent “very likely” as their own group, even though they already added that number to the “somewhat likely” percentage. Then they mashed together the “not very likely” and “not likely at all” groups, and threw the 15 percent who were unsure into the waste bin. Voila – 120 percent.

More fun with inventing numbers below the fold . . .
According to the poll, 35 percent thought it very likely, 24 percent somewhat likely, 21 percent not very likely, and 5 percent not likely at all (15 percent weren’t sure).
They took the 35% who thought it was likely and added the 24% who thought it was somewhat likely, than they added it to get 59% and then added the 59% in again.
118-120% of people, LOL.
The graphic at ThinkProgress explains it better but I can’t add it in, picture trail.com won’t let me.
Who needs reality when you can rewrite the facts to fit your view of the world?
Fair and Balanced or FAIL and Balanced?
I know, let’s have a debate between 2+2=4 and 2+2=5, since some people think 2+2 might equal 5, we should respect their opinions and debate the facts.
FAIL is too soft of a word.
Never mind facts that are proven by the scientific method, opinion is what really matters, and when More Americans believe in angels than humans’ role in global warming you know we have some big problems in this country.
Of course, our idiot media could do their damned jobs for once and report the facts, but that is probably hoping for too much.
So, here are some more facts that don’t add up that I would like to see reported.
-05% of the public view Sarah Palin seriously.
200% of Americans would rather have a beer with George W. Bush than let him be President again.
85% of Glenn Beck’s body is vanilla pudding and lard.
100% of Jesus’s disciples would have been socialists.
110% of our nations problems are caused by FAILed ideas Republicans tried 30% years ago.
50% of Americans think that Jesus’s pet dinosaur’s name was “Binky”
The other 50% think dinosaurs never existed and are a hoax perpetuated by crooked paleontologists.
105% of climate change skeptics WITHOUT environmental science degrees would be better off keeping their damned fool mouths shut.
Once a year, 169% of Barbara Bush’s back hairs grow thicker to protect her from the winter cold.
And 105% of the delusional saps who believe what Fox News say shouldn’t be allowed to drive, teach or operate machinery heavier than a pencil.
Apparently, the other half of the Drill Baby Drill plan is to Burn Baby Burn our environment to the ground, and while the oceans turn acidic we should twiddle our thumbs and debate the facts one more time.
Because when it comes to fact, truth, science or basic common sense, the Conservative ideas for our nation’s and planets future add up to this.
365% of Americans’ know that.
So who’s getting fired over this. We shall wait and see, eh?

WHERE’S YOUR TIP JAR?!
/jumping tip jar, unapologetically.
(P.S. Can I do that? :P)
Of course, with Diebold, anything is possible.
Boy, the Democrats really got on the voting reform and transparency, didn’t day?
I guess that pony is scheduled for delivery around 2193.
In closing, Fox News is just infotainment.
believe that it is easier for a rich camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a Democrat to attain the Kingdom of God.
LOL!
And — ahem — 365% of Americans flunked statistics, or flunked out of high school first.
After climategate? Shall we just have a Holy War about it?
Or shall be just bioweapon them all and start over.

I mean I could use all of the other New World Order quotes from well known world power brokers, but hey, that would just be tin foil.

Just lost a post to you!
I had just finished responding to a request to submit a question by the NRDC — then, came here, and voila, your diary.
The deliberate corporate denial will drive us into our graves — can’t understand how they figure they’re impervious to the affects of global warming — greed definitely drives them all, possibly, to our extinction!
My response was:
There have been many a diary and comments here on DD concerning global warming.
Thank you for this — it’s very troubling and should be a concern to us all — in lieu of the “mean hearts” at other blogs! 😉
