This president has been like a train wreck crashing into a traffic pile up caused by an airliner coming down in the middle of a busy highway.
What’s next..Climate change, immigration (Oh I soooooo cannot wait for the freak out on that), and another go around with the housing/commercial real estate markets compounded by credit card debt as it is revealed that all those “toxic assets” still haven’t been sold for pennies on the failing dollar as the world market gobbles up gold. And don’t forget two wars, lose nukes and North Korea. Natural disaster anyone.

I don’t know when I first noticed this, but I certainly see it now.
The more criticized and challenged Obama becomes, the more his body language depicts arrogance, conceit and self protection.
In his Nobel Prize acceptance speech, Obama repeatedly pushed his lower jaw out with tightly clenched mouth while thrusting his head back and up toward the ceiling, rather than looking toward the audience in a level manner.
This gesture added emphasis to his points, head held high in the pride of his correctness and the dismissal of any critics.
I think he is really out of reach now. He made wrong decisions. He made incorrect appointments, and he doesn’t see anything to do except to defend his decisions and policies.
Not only has he lost the support of most of the progressive left, he has now even lost the base of his base, the Congressional Black Caucus and black leaders like John Conyers and Maxine Waters.
He is unreachable now, maybe he always was, but now it is obvious.
The Progressive Community needs to start planning now for 2010 and 2012, or….prepare for___________________!!!
and pols totally misread the polls and go right. They think the voters are stupid and while they have a point Obama’s base and supporters were intelligent and liked his articulate and thoughtful demeanor, he was the smart one you could believe in. Articulate cannot hold the illusion of good and changey hopey when what he is implementing are same policies and agenda the psycho cheerleader initiated. Especially when this round is burying the middle class.
