September 7th, 1941. “A Date Which Will Live in Infamy.”

“This is Pearl Harbor Day. Forty-seven years ago to this very day, we were hit and hit hard at Pearl Harbor.”

George H. W. Bush addressing the American Legion in Louisville, Kentucky (7 September 1988), three months prior to the actual anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor (7 December 1941).

National attention is focus on the Ted Kennedy seat erection.  Yes, I said erection because stifling government and sending a negative message to Mr. war monger peace prize recipient is appropriate.  Beyond that the video says it all.

I get complaints.  Alot of complaints about not staying “on topic”.  It is part and parcel of an attempt to report the death of the empire.  This amounts of just about every human action being deliberately turned into something self destructive by the power that be.

Did Cass Sunstein write “Conspiracy Theories?”

There are numerous claims and allegations that Cass Sunstein wrote a controversial paper entitled, “Conspiracy Theories…,” in which he is alleged to have advocated government infiltration of said conspiracy theorists.

The link to that paper is here:

http://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/pa…

His publication record at Harvard fails to show this particular publication.  That link is here:

http://www.law.harvard.edu/fac…

Question: did Cass Sunstein write the paper he is alleged to have written?  Or is that paper a forgery?

All other questions and controversies are null and void prior to ascertaining the veracity of this fact.

Cass Sunstein wants to re-educate you

Cass Sunstein, professor of law at Harvard and Obama’s “Information Tsar,” gets his proto-fascist freak on in Conspiracy Theories, wherein he forwards the thesis that, conspiracy theorists are bad, because they endanger government anti-terrorism policy,  whatever that policy may be,  therefore conspiracy theorists need to be thwarted by a strategy of government-sponsored infiltration and re-education.  Government needs to fight back against independent public thinking!  I kid you not.

Update:

http://www.law.harvard.edu/fac…

Sunstein’s full list of publications does not list “conspiracy theories” among them, at least not over the past couple of years.  It is definitely a topic he has written about before.  I wonder if this paper I linked is a forgery attributed to him.  That is first and foremost on my mind.

Update 2My second guessing was a mistake.  We’ve got a live one.  His Harvard web page does indeed list the paper and was published as, Vermeule, Adrian & Cass R. Sunstein. “Conspiracy Theories: Causes and Cures,” 17 Journal of Political Philosophy 202 (2008).

A coup attempt in the Teamsters

Original article, subtitled Lee Sustar explains the background to the attempt by the Teamsters bureaucracy to oust the reform leadership of an important local in Chicago, via Socialist Worker (US):

A COUP against the reform leadership of a big Teamster local in Chicago is underway–and it’s aimed at restoring the corrupt old guard leadership to power and snuffing out union democracy.

Obama Hired This Guy

One of my favorate all time books and movies is Farenheit 451.   Basically, the story follows Guy Montag, a fireman who burns books in a futuristic American city. In Montag’s world, firemen start fires rather than putting them out. The people in this society do not read books, enjoy nature, spend time by themselves, think independently, or have meaningful conversations. Instead, they drive very fast, watch excessive amounts of television on wall-size sets, and listen to the radio on “Seashell Radio” sets attached to their ears.  Sounds familiar doesn’t it.

I couldn’t help but think of that book when I read that Cass Sunstein, the head of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, appointed by fearless leader President Obama, wants to ban conspiracy “theorizing”.  This dude, a Jew from Harvard who taught at the U. of Chicago Law School, is calling for banning conspiracy “theorizing”.  BANNING CONSPIRACY THEORIZING UNDER PENALITIES FROM THE GOVERNMENT!  This guy was appointed by Obama, or rather Obama was instructed to appoint him.

“Sunstein also recommended the government send agents to infiltrate “extremists who supply conspiracy theories” to disrupt the efforts of the “extremists” to propagate their theories.”

http://www.wnd.com/index.php?f…

I don’t think I can properly describe my anger at this information.  Maybe I can.  A Jew, one of the same people who control 95% of the mainstream media in western countries, a Harvard educated Skull and Bones affiliated bastard.  Appointed by Obama as head of Information Control for the United States.  A Zionist in control of America’s information regulations wants to come out and start banning anyone from talking about conspiracy theories and infiltrate private citizen groups to prevent the truth from coming out.

Fuck it.  Ban me too.  Obama is in bed with the Zionists and if it can’t be talked about, then get ready for book burning.  If you can’t handle the truth, then don’t pretend you can.

Update:  Good, GBCW.

Status Update (personal)

So, just to let you know how we’re all doing — Took Twister to the vet today.  The news isn’t all that good.  The vet took blood and it appears he may have a sarcoma or carcinoma because the cells looked abnormal.

The next step is to get the lump surgically excised and looked at by a pathologist.  This is going to cost a lot of money, naturally, but we’re looking into options and I may get some help.

He was a big baby about the cat carrier but was too terrified by the vet to give them much trouble and was a very good boy on getting home (only 15 minutes of pouting under the bed) and has now been rewarded with his catnip treat.

I am keeping my job, for now.  The somewhat stressful irony is I have to complete certain work within a month and the recommendation is for Twister to have his lump removed within the month so it doesn’t become in the words of the vet “too difficult to manage”.  This is encouraging in a sense .. we don’t know how invasive the tumor is but in getting it removed the hope is “not too much”.

And apparently my dad is cranky but feeling better and is getting out of the hospital tomorrow.

All this of course sucks but I am so grateful and aware that it’s not anything like “Haiti class sucking”.  I just wish I could help but it appears that all my energies for the next month or so are going to be about self and cat rescue.

Thanks to everyone for their kind words and support – and, I will be all right.  I broke down and cried to my brother a bit over the potential loss of my long time companion and friend, like the wussy I am, but he’s a happy kitty and wants to live.  He’s not in any pain unless his foolish master, like the oaf he is, pushes too hard on the lump, which he will not do again, on pain of being bitten.

Civil rights and election fraud: New study asks, ‘Was Prop 8 straight?’

Today, the BRAD BLOG is reporting that there’s a fair chance Prop 8 was not decided by bigoted voters, but by “fraud or gross errors” in the election.  From WasProp8Straight.org:

A new analysis of independent exit polls conducted in L.A. County at the November 2008 election indicates significant likelihood that the official vote counts are incorrect. It is indeed possible that the California state constitution was amended to strip marriage rights of some of the state’s people as a result of vote counts that were incorrect and possibly even fraudulent.

A “no” vote for Prop 8 meant that you wanted marriage equality.  In some places in Los Angeles, the difference between the official vote totals and this study were a not so alarming 2%, but in other places they approached a shocking 18%.  Just to clarify, this study is saying that in some places the actual votes that people cast differed from what was recorded by the state by nearly 18%.  And Prop 8 passed by a margin of less than 5% of the vote.
