I didn’t watch the game, was mildly intrested in the outcome this morning and then thought – New Orleans stil has the same problems it had before the game – maybe the bars did well – and the restaurants. Have the levees been strengthened?
But don’t go by me – I hate the bloody war worshiping Air Show in Chicago – the animals at Lincoln Park Zoo are scared sick – and so am I for that matter. I remember working one morning in the garden when the planes were swooping around and I sat back on my heels and said a prayer – then realized it was the damn airshow.
There is the thought that sports somehow bring us together – hey we’re way past that – this decline is real and it’s getting faster traction.
