Well other than a few VERY bright spots, it has been a long hard winter for this feckless reporter. I’ve been washed by the wind, beaten by the rain, tried to keep going, but gave in to the pain. The bastards haven’t worn me down, but the unrelenting discomfort has. Just in case anyone hasn’t noticed, I haven’t been around much lately, lol.
But as spring approaches here in SoCal, I can feel my spirit rising with the sap and have sent out an amber alert for my muse, who apparently and wisely seems to have fled for warmer climes. Not even a postcard, sigh.
While the external production has not been there, hopefully the deep internal process I have been somewhat forced into will bear fruit on the tree of blogging soon…..but in the meantime it has been great watching you guys continue to find yourselves, and your voices and witness your various ruminations on genitalia.
I thought, as I wait for the sap to rise, the sparkle to return, and some semblance of fun to reinhabit my being, I should at least make a token appearance, let everyone know that I am fine and plan to return with a vengeance….someday….and encourage you all to carry on as the days get longer and we all adjust to incremental change and try to figure out how we can goose it in the behind at least a little bit!
See ya back in the trenches real soon I hope!

really gorgeous day weather-wise we’ve had in months. Its been a long winter. Nothing like Winter of ’83, but …
I think, in fact, today might be the first day in…. I dont know how long… that I have had ALL at the same time:
nice weather;
two functioning hands/wrists;
one functioning car;
a little cash/grocery money.
:-/
Thanks for the report, buhdy, you know I worry about you.
I just wanted to take a short break… six years ago.
And seriously all the rising sap/external production/deep internal process stuff outdid any genitalia talk around here.
I was fanning myself.
I hope you feel sparkly soon. I really do.
Hope you’re will be feeling more “up” soon!
and come back when your feeling able. I miss you and I say..
or just a metaphor?
These are brutal times – brute tiempi (I think that’s the right Italian. anyone?)
Do what you must but you will be missed for however long…
I sent your “nice” diary to several friends — well received.
Be healthy and happy if you can. (Easier said than done)
♥~
Well I will think warm squishy ( though no relation to genitalia) thoughts about hoping your pain goes away or on vacation or does something to make you not notice it so much.
We’ve been warped by the rain, driven by the snow
We’re drunk and dirty, don’t ya know,
And we’re still bloggin’
Out on the road late last night,
See that pretty Screen in every head light
Laptop, Dell Laptop
We’ve been from Orange to Docudharma
My Left Wing to Froggy Pond
Typed on every kind of blog that’s ever been made
Cruised the back roads so we wouldn’t get banned
If you give us: weed, more weed, and wine
And you show us a sign
We’ll be willin’ to be chillin’
We’ve been kicked by the wind, robbed by the sleet
Had our heads stoved in, but we’re still on our feet
And We’re still… bloggin’
Now we smuggled some smokes and folks from Naranjastan
Baked by the sun, every time I go to Naranjastan
We’ve been from Orange to Docudharma
My Left Wing to Froggy Pond
Typed on every kind of blog that’s ever been made
Cruised the back roads so we wouldn’t get banned
If you give us: weed, more weed, and wine
And you show us a sign
We’ll be willin’ to be chillin’
Deepest apologies to the Little Featsies 😀
Boody- May your sap rise with sudden surprise, bringing only smiles
This was on Huffpo and it’s a time lapse video of the Milky Way over Mauna Kea, Hawai’i at the top of the mountain where there’s an observatory. read the comments here on how he did it http://vimeo.com/8918647
The smaller version on Huffpo downloads faster.

The Great Wheel of Life turns in the sky, sun, moon, and stars set, and then rise again on their endless journey thru the universe. And we are going along for the ride.
…some days are stones:”
Wishing you many more days that are diamonds, and far less that are stones buhdy.
