NeoNazi/AZ GOP link exposed through Racist Immigration Law. Where the hell is the media on this?

Meet J.T. Ready, avowed Neo Nazi, past president of the Mesa Community College Republican Club and Maricopa County Republican precinct committeeman. J.T. is the second schmuck from the right in the picture below.

And here is J.T. Ready (Left) with Arizona State Senator Russell Pearce, the author of the new Arizona police state “show me your papers” law, who has his own history of ties to Neo Nazi white supremacist groups.

In most states being seen publicly with a Nazi would ruin your political career. In most states you would be shunned by your political party. But not in Arizona, and not in the Republican party.

WTF?

More below the fold

Hat tip to crooksandliars.com, who published an article titled Profiling Arizona legislator Russell Pearce: Author of immigration law is pals with noted neo-Nazi about this on Tuesday.

As the Southern Poverty Law Center states, “(J.T) Ready is deeply involved in mainstream conservative politics. He’s also an outright neo-Nazi.

And AZ State Sen. Pearce, as well as Sheriff Joe Arapio have been palling around with Neo-Nazi’s, but our national Corporate media has not only failed to bring this to the attention of the American public, they have helped further mainstream policies pushed forward by the friends of Arizona Neo-Nazi’s.

Pearce has a colorful background involving the white-supremacist far right, including dalliances — like his close pal Sheriff Joe Arpaio — with neo-Nazis.

~snip~

Y’see, back in 2006, Pearce caught a lot of people’s attention by forwarding to a bunch of his friends and associates an article on immigration from a neo-Nazi news source — namely, the National Alliance, the folks who brought you The Turner Diaries.  The article was about Jewish control of the media and how it supposedly creates a bias against whites and favors minorities and Israel. Pearce apologized,  but never could explain why he was reading material from the National Alliance in the first place.

Imagine if you found out your neighbor was a Neo-Nazi or palled around with Nazi’s? Would you sign their petitions? Would you push forward their legislation ideas? Would you sign their racist legislation into law, Jan Brewer?

Here is J.T. Ready praising AZ State Senator Russell Pearce and current GOP Senate candidate J.D. (Hayworth). So why are Republicans not judged by the company they keep?

Jason “J.T.” Ready advocates deadly force to stop Mexicans from crossing the U.S. border illegally. “I firmly believe in having a minefield across the border,” he says in a widely distributed video. “This is 100% effective.”

~snip~

Ready spoke at a rally put on by the neo-Nazi National Socialist Movement in Omaha, Neb., last September (where he was billed as an “Arizona Republican activist”) and appeared at the neo-Nazi National Vanguard’s “Winterfest” gathering in Phoenix last December. He regularly posts to white nationalist online forums, including NewSaxon, where last December he offered this charming observation on the root causes of illegal immigration: “The truth is that negroids screw monkeys and rape babies in afreaka [sic]. Then stupid white man who licks kosher jew rear lets negroids in. … Stop Negroid immigration and integration now!!! Nature will take care of the rest.”

With all of the bullshit that the Corporate media (particularly Fox) has pushed over Reverend Wright, William Ayers and ACORN, you’d think they would jump on a story about a politicians public association with an avowed Neo-Nazi. Especially Fox, who has a host whose name rhymes with Blenn Geck that does a hour long “Which Democrat is like a Nazi/Socialist” show.

But when Fox actually has AZ State Sen Russell Pearce on air, did they ask him about his public association with Neo-Nazi’s, or did they carry water for him and help mainstream his racist “Vhere are you papers” law?

Just guess.

Van Susteren lets Arizona State Sen. Russell Pearce lie: His immigration bill only ‘allows’ law enforcement to arrest suspects

Here, in this diary, is definitive proof that the author of Arizona’s new draconian, racist anti-not white people law has a history of association with Neo-Nazi’s and Nazi ideas. The same law that is now being mainstreamed across America and pushed in other states was written by a man who palls around with Nazi’s and belongs to a political party (Republican) that supports torture and domestic spying on citizens.

So here are my questions to the Republican party and to our Corporate American media.

1. To the Arizona Republican party
– WHAT THE F*** IS WRONG WITH YOU? There is a friend of Nazi’s in your party, in your State Senate, and do you reject him and demand he resigns? NO! You actually helped pass his racist proposal into law! Again, I ask, WHAT THE F*** IS WRONG WITH YOU?

2. To the American Corporate Media – WHAT THE F*** IS WRONG WITH YOU? The draconian Arizona anti-immigration law that was signed by Republican AZ Gov Jan Brewer and passed by the Republican controlled Arizona state legislation was written by a man who publicly associates with Neo-Nazi’s and forwards emails from Nazi websites, and you dare to try to mainstream this as “normal” instead of calling it what it is, a law straight out of Gestapo Germany written by a man who has ties to Neo-Nazi’s? Again, I ask, WHAT THE F*** IS WRONG WITH YOU?

Maybe both the Republican party and the corporate media are happy to pass the blame of America’s shattered economy away from the richest of the rich who caused this mess over to the poorest of the poor who had the least to do with it. Maybe that is what is wrong with the Republican party and the Corporate media?

But I pose this question to you, dear reader, If there was a Democrat who publiclly associated with Neo-Nazi’s, do you think the GOP and the Corporate media would play it to the hilt and make the case that the whole Democratic party were Nazi sympathizers based on this one persons actions?

I am not saying that the whole GOP is tolerant of Neo-Nazism, just Arizona and every other Conservative windbag who is pushing this extremely racist policy as mainstream and anything other than a racist law proposed by the friend of Neo-Nazi’s.

    WTF?

Yes, because it is only okay to call Democrat’s fascists and Nazi’s, not Republicans and Conservatives, even when they publicly associate with Nazi’s.

Dear Corporate media, DO YOUR JOB INFORMING AMERICA. And dear Conservatives, UNTIL YOU REJECT YOUR NAZI-SYMPATHIZING WING YOU WILL BE JUDGED BY THE COMPANY YOU KEEP.

  2. and most people like that just fine.

BTW although I liked the diary I think the cartoon at the end is dangerously deluded.  The problem is that Obama supporters live in a bubble.  Supporting the President isn’t going to make his centrist half hearted corporatist policies go away, and those corporatist, no change policies are going to make this country slip off a cliff.  And then, who will be blamed?

I don’t support the President, because such support is meaningless.  I support rapid liberal change irrespective of who’s doing it, and this is no longer an option, if we don’t want to have a non-fascist future.

  3. Thanks for exposing the basis of this sick bill of Arizona’s.  I’ve been saying right down the line, this is what they did to Jews who supposedly “looked like Jews,” in Nazi Germany.

I also said that southern states would be the next to want to establish this “sick law.”  Sure enough, already Texas, as well as Alabama are eager to establish a like law.

Whadda’ sick country we live in! And keeps on getting sicker!

    Nice to C U!

  4. No “clafouti” — I’ve been saying this down the line, but, was a bit chastised here for doing so.!  See here.

It seems, in some almost unbelievable way, that we are/have been retrogressing way back to our early days — do I think this an accident?  No!  Republicans, probably, and most certainly, felt/and continue to feel “repugnance” toward the advent of a “black” President, number one, and suffer hugely from a major Repug “loss.”  Thus, as we should know and have seen for well over eight years plus, we should not be surprised that they will pull “every straw” they can to regain their “losses.”  This is happening — in the form of “seeking” governorships and redistricting and gerry-mandering.  We have a large battle on our hands — these “people” have no STOPS, as we well know and we now suffer the results of.

Apartheid in America?  Well, you could call it this — but, in several ways.  Where I grew up, it was an “apartheid” of the “blacks” and of the “poor.”  Yes, the Republicans, who owned a large chunk of the “small businesses,” as such, always, but always, frowned on the less fortunate of citizens (speaking, monetarily, of course).  I kid you not!  If you did not have money, a really nice home, etc., you were frowned upon — this is the “Republican culture.”  Of course, as expressed in buhdy’s essay, there are THOSE Dems who are “enrolled” in this mentality, as well!

    Don’t stop, MoT!
