Sunset Open Thread

(Because the sun is setting somewhere – promoted by TheMomCat)

I like sunsets. Do you?

Tonight’s was not an especially great sunset but I like to post sunsets. See five more below.

This glow below the clouds in the two photos below were pretty unique.

And a little afterglow.

  3. I’m having a strange issue with this site. If I open a new tab, and go to docudharma, it comes up fine, it sees my cookies or whatever, and I’m logged in as annapaxis.

But when I reload or navigate away from the initial page, I’m suddenly logged out, and see the non-member version of the site. Weird, and a bit annoying. I don’t think I changed by browser settings, not sure what’s wrong. Maybe I’ll check my settings again (Google Chrome in Ubuntu.)

  4. believe that trying too hard to change people to be selfless and altruistic is a waste of time, AND

believe that systems which rely on altruism and selflessness are a waste of time, AND

believe that we should figure out how to achieve good for the community by using greed ??

Since I was 12 in ’72, I’ve had little to ZERO faith / interest in getting the world to run better through appealing to the … better angles of our nature.

Oh yeah, I’ve despised fascist / aristocrat / elitists since that age or earlier, so, triangulating with exxon ain’t on or over my horizon.

    rmm.
