| Truth
Stripped
of pretense
scraped down
to the nub
bathed in
the acid
of reality
Truth
is coated by
no varnish
No twisting
spinning
bending
stretching
can alter it
Truth is inviolate
but there are many
pretenders

….the past few weeks I have been avoiding seeing the truth as to a relationship. Often times the truth does hurt, but the alternative is far worse.
