to me. The sun seems more powerful lately. When I was a kid, we used to have sun umbrellas – I’ve taken to using large rain umbrella. This am I used it for the sun. It’s sensible for a lady of a certain age.
We’ve had rain every evening – and hot weather and rain storms are a bad combo for midwest.
My animals and I (2 dogs and 5 cats) are napping a lot in the afternoon – we all crowd into my bedroom which has good vents for ac and a ceiling fan. The cats especially are lethargic. My one dog, Buster, got shaved. He’s embarrassed (yes, he is) but at least I got rid of all that long fur. Poor things if no one is watching out for them.
As to the upcoming electric bill – ssshhhhh, let’s not talk about it.

in Vancouver are around 22 degrees celsius (about 77 fahrenheit)
Lat summer we had three weeks running of, with the humidex, 41 degrees celsius (about 105 fahrenheit)
It sucked.
Today is about 28 celsius (82 fahrenheit) with prediction for tomorrow about 31 celsius (88 fahrenheit)
It sucks.
I’m going to go find a bush to sleep under. 😉
I’ll be back after dark…
