Last Friday, when I posted my weekly Original v. Cover essay, set to autopublish that evening at 7:00 P.M. PDT, for whatever reason, the attached poll vanished. The same thing happened last night, and when I tried to re-do it, adding the poll again, I somehow ended up with two copies on the “New Essays” page, both set to autopublish at the same time. Neither one appears to have a poll still attached.
I have tried at least ten times to delete one of the two identical essays, and the site seems to indicate that the delete was successful, but the both identical essays still appear on the “New Essays” page. I e-mailed DD Tech Support last night, and having heard nothing by mid-morning today, also e-mailed the editors at the address in the “Contact Us” section, however, it was returned as undeliverable. I then e-mailed the third address on the “Contact Us” page but still haven’t heard anything back from anyone.
I’m not sure if there is anything you can do, but if you there is, any assistance you can lend would be much appreciated.
BTW — Spy vs. Spy was one of the favorite features in Mad Magazine, which was one of my guilty pleasures as a kid.
