Ok, why am I voting Democratic Party?

( – promoted by buhdydharma )

I just got pumped for money from the Texas Democrats, to which I said I will only support state-wide elections and any federal Democratic candidate can basically suck my fucking sweet, sweet balls. The pocketpicker who thinks I am some dumbass progressive who can be treated like an ATM asked wtf am I talking about, why am I basically saying federal level Democrats are dream rapers?

I said, “Gitmos still open, we expanded the war to Yemen, we’re still doing Reaganomics, never fixed the ballot box, new orleans is still a pit, infrastructure is crumbling and we get speeches, healthcare bill was a big pharma/medical bailout, no on…e was held accountable for the mortgage fraud leading to the financial collapse, no one was held accountable for the war crimes over the last decade and this just off the top of my head.”

Now, remind me why I am voting Democratic?

PS. Your Palin bogeyman is no longer valid. That shit is so last decade.

  1. just an outlet–a way to let off steam.

    Every two years.

    It’s fake.

It makes them feel like they’ve done something, when either way:

    Nothing has f’ing changed.

to win again in November, and remain in control the house and senate and oval office, as they have been for the past 10 years?

    😉

  2. they will impeach Obama! If you don’t Boner will be the house leader and they will stop any landmark legislation that will surely be start towards getting the people economic equality some jobs or health care or restoring our rights and laws. the Republicans will take us back to the brink of ???????. Banksters will run amok, unchecked and deregulated. Do you want the likes of Simpson taking away our entitlements? Don’t you care about our environment they will drill baby drill. Plus they will trash the constitution and wreck the DOJ.  So vote because the teabaggers are bat shit crazy and corrupt immoral conservadems are so much less frightening.

  3. There is no imperative that imputes a duty on ME to Democrats or the Democratic Party .. and I say this is universal and unique among LGBT citizens.

Support our human rights or don’t bother coming to the party.  It’s just that simple.  No ifs.  No, but Republicans are worse.

Only full fledged citizens have full fledged citizenship duties.

I HAVE NO DUTY to vote for Democrats, or to vote at all.  Or to pay taxes.  Or to support or aid the country that abets my persecution, IN ANY WAY.

What remains is my choice and my best interest, and the interest of my fellow LGBT second class citizens.  Nothing more.

Not just to LGBT people, but the top down Democratic browbeating is backfiring, but certainly and most excessively for us.  We had no duty to elect Obama in the first place, but we did.  We helped.

  4. then I absolutely give up. I mean WTF! Okay, so now I know he’s read one book in the last 5 years. And probably just the inside of the dust jacket. And law school doesn’t mean shit. I knew a lot of complete idiots there, and a couple of them became judges. Oh I feel so sorry for him cause they treat him like a dog. Well I can sure see why, cause he’s always rolling over and begging.

  5. kissing the Republicans’ rear ends at the same time.

All they need is for you not to vote in November to make their fondest wishes come true.

Similar to Obama’s desperate attempts to curry their favor and approval, those of you who refuse to vote for Dems will be doing the same thing you despise the President.

But, maybe for doing this, the Republicans will remember you when they pass out treats to their friends after they take over complete control of the country.

    Good luck!

if you’re a radical and you’re supporting the Democrats (beyond perhaps the occasional vote in a race in which there really is no other acceptable choice, like one between just a Dem and Rep or something) I think you must either be misguided, confused, or insincere.

    I say that with love.
