Domestically – LBJ was a good president. He never got we couldn’t just go in and clean stuff up. That attitude continues.
As a woman on Medicare – I appreciate his political skills for the working class. I can’t deny him. Surely there’s no Dem in DC now who is looking out for us.
On my ever expanding reading list: Robert Caro’s biography of LBJ.
I know this is politically inept on a left blog – but I’ve a soft spot for him way down.
