They have a way of cutting through the Rhetoric.

Facts have a way of lifting the “fog of inaction”.

So, it is within that context of “fog clearing”, I present to you …

Without your Vote, your Citizen Voice, being added to this grand American Experiment —

That grand List of “Works in Progress” will end up “Being Shelved” —

CANCELED, REVOKED, REPEALED …

IF we let the Party of NO Ideas, Keep THEIR Pledges, Keep THEIR Promises;

to do to this Country, “the Very Same Things“, they did before, in the last Decade.

This Must Not Happen.  They must not be given the chance, to turn back the clock … especially when the Time for Change, is so limited.

This Country’s People will NOT survive another Decade of Millionaire Favoritism.

This Country’s Peoplethe Working People — must make OUR Voices heard — as One Nation,

by Voting for the Party, that is “Working for you”, for US the American People.

————

“Works in Progress” take time.

Afterall it took the Republicans 8 years to crater the Economy —

It may take at least 4 years to fix it — especially considering how the Only Word the GOP Knows —

is NO !!!      (as in Hell No!!!)

Progress takes Time.

Progress takes Patience.

Progress takes Democrats being given the chance to become the Party of YES …

the Party of YES … WE CAN.

    and Randi Rhodes,

    and Katrina vanden Heuvel

support President Obama, and the Democrats …

and that’s good enough for me.

  1. But this is Docudharma, not Daily Obama.  Fair’s fair, so I don’t mind viewpoints being cross pollinated, even if they are semi official propaganda and talking points.

    Still…

This list was trite when OFA-mongers first started putting it up.  It’s tiresome and hooey now.

Dissatisfied liberals are not stupid, and this is another way for Obama supporters, and perhaps the Obama administration, to treat dissatisfied liberals like they are.  Stupid, that is.  Pee on my feet, but don’t tell me it’s raining, style.  Heh.

It was never about the NUMBER of bullet points that Obama himself decided were technical promises he decided he made that he could check off his little technical checkoff list to allow people to say he did great wonders.

And, the “he never promised X” garbage doesn’t do it for me either.

It was, and is, about restoring this country and fixing the big ticket items destroying people’s lives.

As to GOTV.  I don’t know, maybe it works for the vast majority.  I have no idea.  Me, I prefer honesty.  GOS is about GOTV, even if, arguably, that should be left to the OFA.

I’d prefer the Democrats tell the truth and not paper over their failures.  Even in an election season.

This arm waving doesn’t work on me.  Never has, never will.  As I said, that’s just me.

I respect YOUR honesty — I think you are just trying to GOTV, probably because like many people you’re afraid of what the Republicans will do if they take power.  But this list stuff is obfuscation, and that’s all it is.

  2. Ever. In. My. Life.

Here’s the top ten of 238 reasons why:

    1. Afghanistan escalation

    2. Pakistan Escalation / Drone attacks

    3. Torture

    4. Renditions

    5. Mandated heath care and the death of single payer

    6.  Hand outs to wall street

    7. Covering up for BP in the GOM – and making the situation far worse by spreading dispersants.

    8. The attack on Social Security, which has begun under the democrats.

    9. ‘Clean’ coal.

    10. Offshore oil drilling permits granted. Two weeks before the gulf, btw.

    Take the pledge:

    Don’t get fooled gain !
