science and religion. And I resent people who assume that people who get comfort and a code of decency from religion are dunces and without imagination. Humans are able to hold conflicting themes and make a whole of those themes somehow. It’s not easy but it can be done. Nothing new here. And these people can be open and tolerant, as well as kind, intelligent and thoughtful.
Life is a search for what I call “God.” It gets richer as I age and takes in more of the magnificance of life – and in no way, shape or form do I think my particular mode of worship has the all the answers – nor should it have. It’s a cultural way to find God.
But yes, last night does count big time – as you will see this in the coming two years.
But what do I know – I’m a practicing Catholic. And according to this part of the problem apparently.
