We may have lost Alan Grayson to a teabagger but we still have Anthony Weiner calling the plays and the players at half time in the HCR bill repeal debates in the House. Sometimes the House provides some really great entertainment.
WEINER: There have basically been three formations of the argument by the Republicans. First, they start by making things up, you kind of have to wonder if any of them actually read the bill…”130,000 new agencies” – NOT TRUE. “New IRS agents” – NOT TRUE. “Death Panels” – NOT TRUE. “Members aren’t covered” – NOT TRUE. “No Tort Reform in it” – NOT TRUE. You know, I want to just advise people watching at home playing that now popular drinking game of “you take a shot whenever Republicans say something that is not true,” please assign a designated driver, this is going to be a long afternoon!
If this “game” continues over the next two years, the need for liver donors is going to increase exponentially.

Don’t ride drunk in Austin, they’ll take your “ride”.
is so bizarre it’s is kinda funny. I’m no fan of the so called health care bill but job killing is the best they could come up with? They just read the polls and they all say JOBS are what we want so job killing will now be assigned to any and all issues especially the ones that have nothing to with creating jobs. the Democrat’s aren’t much better as they seem to try to hype their corrupt wealth creating as job creating. They all ought to just STFU and actually represent the common good and the damn law but noooo we got to listen to the theater of the absurd while they screw us and call it compromise or growth.
Sorry I’m in a state today. The Tuesday WSJ deregulating executive bs and SS debacle next in line plus my disgust at this sorry excuse for health care I must now root for as it could be worse, and will be worse, have turned me into raving fool. I guess I just don’t give a rats ass they will play it out and the ending is always the same. Even Weiner irritates the crap out of me he talks the talk ‘but he breaks just like a little girl’, when push comes to shove they all do. Everything that comes out of this government kills jobs that’s their job apparently.
The game isn’t “new.”
And I hope Alan gets a high-profile public position from Obama or the DNC. He’s a gem.
