Yes, the rum is gone.
Why is the rum gone?
One: because it is a vile drink that turns even the most respectable men into complete scoundrels. Two: that signal is over a thousand feet high. The entire Royal Navy is out looking for me. Do you really think there is even the slightest chance they won’t see it?
But why is the rum gone?
There will come a time when you have a chance to do the right thing.
I love those moments. I like to wave at them as they pass by.
Prepare every vessel that floats. At dawn we are at war.
But Keira Knightley will not be on to talk about Pirates of the Caribbean. Instead she will discuss her latest work, The Imitation Game where she plays Joan Clarke opposite Benedict Cumberbatch (who you may know better as Sherlock, from his role as Khan Noonien Singh in Star Trek Into Darkness, or the endless speculation he would be the 13th incarnation of the Doctor instead of Peter Capaldi) as Alan Turing.
Eleanor Holmes Norton is of course the non-voting delegate from the District of Columbia to the U.S. House of Representatives. She’ll probably mention the fact that she killed a driverless car simply by hitting the big red ‘Off’ button, but as she says- “driverless cars have a future as soon as they can be measured by the same safety standards we apply to traditional vehicles.”
