This week’s guests-

The Daily Show

The Colbert Report

Hmm… hard to figure out why Elisabeth Moss is on.  The last 7 episodes of the last season of Mad Men ever don’t air until next spring (2015), though they did just finish filming.  She has a movie going on, Listen Up Philip, but it’s not due out until October.

Pat Buchanan is a racist, misogynist asshole and swindler too toxic for anyone except the The McLaughlin Group and on rare occasions Faux.  What he shares with John Dean is that they both worked for Nixon.  As a speech writer Buchanan was under no obligation to tell the truth and lies like a golf ball to this very day.  Dean was an attorney which is why he was disbarred after he pled guilty to obstruction of justice.  To his credit since his work as Legal Counsel he’s been admirably outspoken on the continued abuses of Executive power by subsequent Presidents including W and Obama.  Of W Dean famously said- “the first President to admit to an impeachable offense”.  I wonder what he thinks about sanctimony over “some” forms of torture?

  1. Of course it was black and white and broken so you had like this little 1″ band of picture.

  2. The two big dials at the top are Tuners, one for VHF (channels 2 – 13) which clicked and one for UHF (channels 16 – 83) which was smooth.

The knob below that was Off/On and Volume and the 2 knobby sticks below Horizontal and Vertical Hold.

  3. NBC, ABC, CBS, and PBS (NBC and PBS’s second channel was UHF).  3 Independents on VHF, about 3 more UHF.
