2016 Senior League Division Series: Game 1, Giants @ Cubs

You might think I’m down on the Giants (88 – 75) because they beat my Metropolitans but considering how lucky they were to be in it at all I can’t hold that against them. If I betray any bias at all it’s because it’s been a very, very long time for the Cubs (103 – 58).

The Cubs will send Jon Lester (L, 19 – 5, 2.44 ERA) to the mound against the Giants’ Johnny Cueto (R, 18 – 5, 2.79 ERA). The Giants claim he’s as good as Bumgarner, but I don’t know about that. On the other hand the Cubs, in addition to having the best Record in Baseball they went 4 and 3 against the Giants in the Regular Season.

Wednesday’s Game

Top 9th- Leadoff Double. Walk, Runners 1st and 2nd 1 Out. 3 RBI HR. Giants 3 – 0 Final.
