March Madness: 2017 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Play In- Day 2

Ugh. This is such a slog. Were I not thoroughly snowed in and did I not have a very early meeting tomorrow I’d be headed for the border and you’d never hear from me again (a relief to many I’m sure). As it is I’ll not be paying much attention tonight.

Once done it’s much easier, but I have to plow through the Women’s Bracket too and I’m not anywhere near that, fortunately I have until Friday.

Now normally until the later rounds they’re pretty good about giving teams a day off between games and of course what you’re really interested in is how the teams playing tonight fared, so to the extent it is possible I’ll try to match results against current contests (meaning they’ll be 2 days old, it’s not something I’m doing for me- it’s for clarity).

I’ll be breaking that rule tonight and tomorrow because there’s no logic to how the Play Ins get placed (they are, after all, lucky to make the Big Dance in any event). Speaking of tomorrow, there will be the customary 2 posts- one for the Afternoon and one for the Evening. Because the NCAA is less good about swapping start times I’ll try to put up the relevant results in the Afternoon. As I say it’s a lot of work so no guarantees.
